Medical Conditions

The policy contains an important Warranty and exclusions relating to existing health conditions. If you answer 'yes' to any of the following questions, please call our office on 01892 833338: Please answer these questions regarding yourself, your travelling companionson behalf of all those to be insured 1. Are there any circumstances, which might give rise to a claim, affecting you or any person upon whose health your trip depends? 2. Are you taking continuing medication? (You do not need to answer 'Yes' if you take the following: HRT; birth control; fertility treatment; impotence treatment) 3. Have you seen a doctor in the past 12 months for anything other than a routine check-up? (You do not need to answer 'Yes' if: a) You did not require any follow-up visit, medication or treatment. b) You visited the doctor on a single occasion and the problem was rectified. c) You are pregnant and have been having normal antenatal check-ups) 4. Are you on a hospital waiting list for in-patient investigation or treatment or travelling with the intent of having medical treatment? 5. Have you ever suffered from or been investigated or treated for or diagnosed with? i. a heart or lung related condition, ii. hypertension (high blood pressure), or iii. malignant disease (e.g cancer) We are able to provide cover for many pre-existing medical conditions. When you call our office we will be able to take details and can usually let you know immediately whether cover can be offered and if an additional premium will apply.
